Just started my individual options project. I am doing children's wall paper for little boys aged 3 to 10. It's got a pirate theme, but I want to make it fun and humorous. So I am going to have parrots with hats on. Still in the development stage will post more when I have more. Here is a sneak peak.........

Working with Hallmark: Photoshop
I used Photoshop to create more images and adapt originals. I came up with the idea of the dogs wearing bow ties, to add humour to them. I experimented with colour and line. Using these images I could start making cards and wraps. I also used hand printing as well as digital work.
Working with Hallmark: Paintings
I developed my line drawings, and used different media and materials. I did some painting of dogs.

Working with Hallmark: Line drawings.
I have just completed a project working with Hallmark Cards. The brief was to design gift cards, wraps etc. For my project I choose to do dogs, as one in three people have a dog, and they are the number one pet in the world. I took inspiration from my dog, Button and people were kind enough to send me pictures of their dogs to use.
Here is some of the work I produced. All work is copyright to Lauren Alice Parnell 2013
